ACM Engineering designs and produces in Italy brushless generators and servomotors and direct current motors, both field wound and permanent magnet. We offer tailor-made solutions that can be used with any type of drive.

History:

The company was founded by Giuseppe Racca in 1946 with the name of IMER (Industria Motori Elettrici Racca) with the aim of building AC motors mainly dedicated to textile industry.

Subsequently, by will of Giovanni and Anita Racca, children of the founder, two distinct companies were born from the IMER company: the El.Va. Focused on the construction of large DC motors and the COMES company dedicated to the construction of DC motors small and medium sized and AC motors.

After that, in 1978 the COMES company took its current name ACM Engineering, dedicating itself mainly to the production of DC motors both wound field and permanent magnet, AC motors and special motors.

At the end of the 80s, realizing the importance and future development of permanent magnet servomotors, ACM Engineering was among the first Italian companies to begin the design and production of Permanent magnet synchronous servomotors.

ACM Engineering today:

It occupies an area of 15,000mq. of which approximately 3,000mq. entirely covered.

The Italian-based company distributes its generators and electric motors directly to the end customer, however it also has distributors of its products both in Italy and abroad.

Given the variety of possibilities, we do not have a stock in stock, all engines are produced to order. Delivery times may vary depending on the type of construction, on average they can take from three working weeks upward. Nonetheless, you will be notified at the bidding stage of the time needed to customize your electric motor or generator.
