Permanent magnet synchronous generators

Permanent magnet technology allows the creation of electrical energy generation systems in direct connection with the turbine, i.e. without the interposition of reducers or transmission components which affect the overall efficiency of the conversion.
ACM Engineering operates in this sector by offering two different families of permanent magnet synchronous generators.

BRG generators.
The BRG series is designed for micro and mini wind applications, with the aim of meeting the application needs of the vertical axis wind sector. The high polarity external rotor solution allows the weight/power ratio to be optimised, furthermore the generator mechanics have been designed to be load-bearing towards the turbine and its mechanical stresses thanks to a specific design and the use of special bearings.
The BRG series is available for powers from 200 W up to 10 kW.

BRL generators.
The BRL series, due to its mechanical and electromagnetic versatility, allows application in multiple sectors such as hydroelectric, wind power, or in combination with endothermic engines, traditional turbines or Stirling engines.
The BRL series is available for powers from 100 W up to 300 kW.
